We have developed a lens transmittance improvement for FIR sensor for absolute temperature measurement, and we introduce successful cases which increased about 10%.
FIR (Far InfraRed) sensor is a sensor that detects the temperature by measuring the infrared (IR) emitted from an object and is used in infrared cameras.
Hello, I’m DiYPRO Absolute temperature sensor FIR lens has been developed by L**. The FIR (Far InfraRed) sensor is a sensor that detects the temperature by measuring the infrared (IR) emitted from the object.
If FIR lens transmittance is good, FIR sensor calibration is easy and accurate detection is possible.
Customers wanted lenses that are heat resistant (thermal durability), opaque and have good transmittance..
<Material improvement>
Generally used materials with good transmittance are not good in heat resistance. DiYPRO has found new material that is opaque with good heat resistance to meet customer's demand.
We compare the transmittance by selecting materials A and B with good heat resistance.
As shown in the graph below, the transmittance varies greatly depending on the material, so it is important to select the material appropriate for your application.
<Process Improvement>
We selected the A material with high transmittance and improved the transmittance.
We have improved the lens process several times, and have achieved about 10% increase as shown in the graph below.
DiYPRO is an optical company that has a process that reflects optical properties, not general injection. This is evident in lens quality. Through consulting, DiYPRO offers appropriate solution by selecting lens material, lens shape and lens quality level according to customer's needs.
